The time that I've been able to spend as a husband and father has shown me a side of life that I missed as a child. I never saw a loving husband, and all the best fathers I saw were on the television screen during any 80's or 90's sitcom series. My mother was from a generation that was there for her husband (not my dad) even though they may not have been fully there for each other. We never got the chance to have conversations about her life before I was born. The moments that I've missed as a child, my kids recreate in their own beautiful style. Having a real person in front of you showing you how to love their wife, who is the mother of your children, seems like a role only on FAMILY MATTERS. That was my favorite show as a kid. The dad played by Reginald Veljohnson gave out great wisdom during the kids' mistakes, the mom played by Jo Marie Payton loved them through it all, and the grandma played by Rosetta LeNorie was the sweetest lady on TV. As a kid, I learned a lot from these shows, some bad and some good. When we first started our company in 2013, I was 23 years old and ambitious. My only goal then was to fill my days with as many pools as I could in a week. Now that I am a husband and a father, my focus has slightly shifted. Water chemistry is now a great passion for me, and every year we learn something new that always helps our business provide better professional aquatic maintenance. We just value our time significantly. Being a husband and a father are the best roles I could ever be accepted for. My family motivates me to get up and make sure that they all have the best day possible, at whatever sacrifices I have to make. They value my efforts more than anything. My presence is valued here. If we come out to service your pool, please understand what we are putting to the side to provide our professional services for you. We value you as our potential customer and want to provide you with the same effort that we provide to our own family. Please respect our decade of experience in swimming pool services as we come out to inspect your swimming pool. We respect that each homeowner has their own system of maintenance and ask that you give our professional services an honest opportunity to show our efficient and effective system. After a week or two, we can collaborate on what system works best at keeping proper water chemistry and circulation. We also ask that you understand our time is limited and we only provide special services to a certain amount of customers. After our CPO course, we have a greater appreciation for all the swimming pools that we come in contact with. If you are looking for winter service for your swimming pool located in Bakersfield, CA, give Blackbeard Pools an opportunity to keep your system balanced and flowing. Till next time, bon voyage!
